A huge blaze in a residential block in International City 1, Dubai, claimed the life of one resident and left two others injured on Saturday afternoon.
Dubai Civil Defence were quickly able to contain the fire, and evacuated the medium-rise residential building to safeguard the remaining occupants.
Authorities have not yet said how the fire started and no further details have been released.
