Lindsay Lohan 'engaged' after whirlwind romance

Lindsay Lohan is engaged. The 29-year-old actress' boyfriend of around seven months - Russian heir Egor Tarabasov - popped the question over the weekend, according to TMZ. It was recently revealed that Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan approves of the whirlwind relationship and had high hopes her daughter would settle down with her new man. Dina reportedly told pals she is "anxious for grandchildren" and thinks Egor is the right man for the 'Mean Girls' star to start a family with. And Lindsay admitted she is "really happy" with the businessman. She said: "I haven't known Egor for that long. We've been together for about seven months. "But I do have a boyfriend and he is a great guy. I met him in the summer. I'm really happy." Lindsay's father Michael Lohan has praised Egor as a "great influence" who wants to help his daughter get her career back on track. He said: "He's a great influence. He has a lot of strong connections in Russia - these are big people and they're very supportive. He wants things to be in the right place for Lindsay and he's wise beyond his years." Michael, 55, said Egor has his complete blessing to date his daughter - whose last film role was in 'The Canyons' in 2013. Michael added: "He's grown up with money but he's not spoiled. He's not the kind of guy to just sit back and spend his money. She may be older than him, but Lindsay is younger at heart. If she's happy, I'm happy."
