Julia Roberts' 3m payday

Julia Roberts earned $3 million for four days of work. According to Variety, the 48-year-old actress was reportedly paid $750,000 a day for her role in 'Mother's Day', which earned just $8.3 million on opening weekend. 'Mother's Day' was directed by Julia's frequent collaborator Garry Marshall and also stars Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis and Kate Hudson. Julia was previously paid a record $20 million for her Oscar winning role in 'Erin Brockovich'. Meanwhile, Julia previously revealed that her husband Danny Moder flew from New Zealand to surprise her on the set of 'Mother's Day. She said: "We were Facetiming, I was at work and he was in New Zealand. And then he said 'wait I have something to show you' and the phone panned up and he was with our three kids, who had been in my hotel while I was working. That's when I realised he was in town to surprise me." While Julia was thrilled with the surprise, she admitted she was also embarrassed because she was wearing an unflattering wig for her role in the new movie. She explained: "I was so embarrassed in my wig, I was like, 'What? Oh my god!'" Julia and Danny, 47, have been married since 2002, after meeting on the set of 2000's 'The Mexican' and have children Hazel and Phinnaeus, 10, and Henry, eight, together.
