Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is now the Guinness World Records title holder for most selfies taken in three minutes.

He snapped 184 selfies in total during the successful record attempt, which took place at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai where over 240 fans had gathered.

The previous record of 168 selfies belonged to James Smith, from the U.K., while past holders of the record include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and ex-footballer Alan Shearer.

As per the record’s rules, all selfies must be in focus and bright enough so that the individual appearing in the picture can be recognised and identified as a unique participant.
